Refund policy

No refunds.

That is the whole rule once a Meet is scheduled.

You are charged $1 when a Meet is scheduled (not when you join, and not when the other person joins). From that moment, the charge is final. We do not refund because someone no-shows, cancels after scheduling, the Meet goes poorly, you change your mind, Google Meet has a technical problem, or you hit your monthly auto-match cap afterward.

Referral credits are not an exception. A referral credit is account credit toward a future Hey Serendipty Meet charge. It is not cash and not a refund of a past payment.

If Stripe reverses a charge on its own (for example a clear duplicate or processor error), that is Stripe’s correction — not a Hey Serendipty refund under this policy. We do not promise to issue refunds.

Admin tools may be used for product safety and ops. That does not create a right to a refund. Any discretionary goodwill (if ever offered) is not an entitlement and does not change this policy.

When you confirm a Meet in the product, you will also see clear language that you will be charged $1 when the Meet is scheduled and that the charge is not refundable after that, plus a link to this page.
